Why Buy ECHO from Patriot Tractor
ECHO has built professional-grade handheld outdoor power equipment in the U.S. since 1972, and is credited with introducing the first backpack blower. It's headquartered in Lake Zurich, Illinois, where it designs and manufactures much of its lineup, and is part of Japan's Yamabiko Corporation. Landscapers, arborists and homeowners use ECHO because it starts easily and holds up to daily work — and because we service everything we sell, you get a shop and a parts counter behind your purchase.
What we carry
- Chainsaws — top-handle saws for climbing and pruning, plus rear-handle saws for storm cleanup, firewood and felling, in gas and 56V battery.
- Backpack blowers — the category ECHO pioneered, with commercial-grade air power for fall leaf cleanup and large properties.
- String trimmers — straight- and curved-shaft gas trimmers and 56V battery models for edging, trimming and brush.
- Hedge trimmers — single- and double-sided handheld models, and shafted trimmers for tall or wide hedges.
- Pro Attachment Series™ (PAS) — one gas or 56V powerhead that accepts quick-change attachments: edger, pole pruner, hedge trimmer, cultivator, brushcutter and more.

ECHO Equipment — FAQs
Do you service ECHO equipment?
Yes. As an authorized ECHO dealer, our on-site service department handles tune-ups, repairs and warranty work on ECHO chainsaws, blowers, trimmers and hedge trimmers.
Can I get ECHO parts and attachments from you?
Yes. We stock common wear parts — chains, bars, trimmer line, filters and spark plugs — plus Red Armor® oil, and we can order genuine ECHO parts and Pro Attachment Series™ attachments. Bring in your model and serial number and we'll find the right part.
Gas or 56V battery — which ECHO is right for me?
Gas gives you the most power and run time for all-day or heavy work. ECHO's eFORCE® 56V battery tools are quieter, need no fuel mixing and suit homeowners and noise-sensitive jobs, and one battery runs every tool on the platform. Tell us how you'll use it and we'll recommend one.
What warranty does ECHO equipment come with?
ECHO backs most of its gas and 56V handheld equipment with a 5-year limited warranty for homeowner use, and a shorter warranty for commercial use. Coverage varies by product, so ask us for the terms on the model you're buying. Register your equipment with ECHO after purchase to keep coverage straightforward. Warranty service is handled right here in our shop.
Where are you located?
